Welcome to the LearnLux CFP® Exam Opportunity Scholarship application.

The financial planning profession has grown rapidly in recent years, yet recent reports show that diversity, inclusion, and equity initiatives have a long way to go. Women account for just 23.8% of all CFP® professionals and fewer than 0.1% of CFP®
professionals are non-binary. Only 1.9% of CFP®
professionals are Black, while 3.1% of CFPs are Latino. 

It's our mission to address the lack of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the profession by attracting and developing planners who are representative of the populations they serve.

By offering scholarships to those in need, we can empower individuals of all races, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and abilities within the financial planning profession to excel in their chosen field.

About the LearnLux CFP® Exam Opportunity Scholarship:

  • This scholarship is open to applicants who plan to sit for the CFP® exam by December 31st, 2025
  • Winners will be awarded $3,000 to cover test preparation materials and the cost of sitting for the CFP® exam
  • Join a growing network of LearnLux planner professionals and past scholarship recipients

The LearnLux scholarship does not certify individuals to use the CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNING, and certification marks. CFP® certification is granted only by CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Board of Standards Inc. to those persons who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP® Board-Registered Program, have met its ethics, experience and examination requirements.
